ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking exceptional Electrical Engineers to join our growing team in Memphis and help design, build, and optimize the power infrastructure for xAI’s high-density AI supercomputing facilities. This is a broad Electrical Engineer requisition covering three critical focus areas: Battery Storage Electrical Engineering (BESS, PCS, integration, controls) Power Transmission Electrical Engineering (high-voltage lines, substations, grid interconnection) Power Generation Electrical Engineering (on-site gas turbine generators, synchronization, protection) You will work on one or more of these areas depending on your expertise and business needs, collaborating across electrical, mechanical, power systems, and construction teams to deliver reliable, massive-scale power solutions. This is a full-time, onsite role based in the Memphis region. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience in one or more of the following: Battery Storage : BESS, inverters/PCS, BMS integration, NFPA 855 Power Transmission : High-voltage substations, transmission lines, grid interconnection (ERCOT) Power Generation : Gas turbine generators, excitation, synchronization, islanded operation Background with data centers, hyperscale facilities, or large on-site power infrastructure (>50 MW).
